Capcom today announced the PC version of “Resident Evil 5″ minimum and recommended system configuration requirements. In line with the general trend in today’s game, the processor, memory, hard drives, graphics cards for high, good news is that multi-core support is pretty good.

Minimum system configuration –

- Operating system: Windows XP
- Processor: Pentium D or Athlon 64 X2 series
- Memory: XP 512MB; Vista 1GB
- Hard Disk: 8GB or more free space
- Graphics: Support DX9.0c, 256MB memory, GeForce 6800 series or Radeon HD 2400 Pro
- Sound Card: DX9.0c compatible
- Display: 800 × 600 resolution
- Controller: keyboard and mouse
- Network: broadband connection

Recommended System Configuration –

- Operating System: Windows Vista
- Processor: Core 2 Quad / Phenom X4 series or better
- Memory: XP 1GB or more; Vista 2GB or more
- Hard Disk: 8GB or more free space
- Graphics card: 512MB memory, GeForce 9800/Radeon HD 4800 series or better
- Sound Card: DX9.0c compatible
- Display: 1280 × 720 resolution or higher
- Controller: Xbox 360 for Windows handle
- Network: broadband connection

“Resident Evil 5″ has already landed PS3 and X360, while the PC version to September 15 (North America) and September 18 (Europe) will be available for sale.
