Lexus will release in 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show concept car LF-Ch competitors targeting the BMW 1 Series, Audi A3 and Volvo C30, sale next summer.

Lexus LF-Ch naming convention

Lexus LF-Ch name in the “LF” is the common name Lexus concept car ,to follow the L-Finesse design philosophy, such as Lexus has launched over before LF-A concept car, LF-Xh concept car, LF-A Roadster concept car, etc.; “C” represents the compact C-Class; “H” means that it is hybrid.

Lexus LF-Ch Petrol-Electric Hybrid Power Systems

Lexus LF-Ch will power by hybrid power system, and with the Prius as a pure electric drive mode, using pre-precursor of the transmission arrangement. Will use the maximum power of 147 horsepower 2.4-liter Atkinson cycle engine and nickel-metal hydride batteries, electric motors would be possible HS250h version. LF-Ch maximum output power will be around 185 horsepower.

Lexus LF-Ch also pay more attention to security, also a new suspension system design, while interior exterior colors are also richer. Lexus LF-Ch claimed a breakthrough in technology and design innovation, will be allowed to become the benchmark for compact-level luxury cars.
